Current claimed that 67 cents was verified. I ask you what cost 67 cents now days?
It was verified according to current. That was back in December and I disputes it but they said that it was verified. Fast forward to April they took out $408.85 and again I disputes it and again they verified it. It is very hard to verify an account when you don't have any account with the merchant that they verified it with.
Do not use this company because you will regret it. They say that they are here to help you build credit but they don't build credit it affects your credit score because of the way they do things.

Ive been a loyal customer of Current for over 5 years, and Im incredibly disappointed.
After years of consistent, qualifying ACH direct deposits and finally reaching a $750 Paycheck Advance limit, my limit was suddenly dropped to $50without warning, without explanation, and despite my account being in perfect standing.
None of my employers direct deposits have ever failed. Ive followed every requirement, yet all I get in response are scripted replies about risk-based factors with no actual explanation for what changed on my account.
It took over a year to build up that limit, and they reduced it overnight with zero accountability.
This feels unfair, predatory, and completely dismissive of customer loyalty.
If youre thinking about banking with Current, proceed with caution.
Theyll gladly take your business, but they wont be transparent with you when things go wrong.

HI am so sick of this bank its unreal! Ive never felt with a bank thats so freaking stupid, greedy, and just all around horrible!!
At first i thought i liked them but once i started actually using my account, *** no!!! I hate them and will not be using it after my transfers comes through!! They offer mobile deposit but unless you have at least 5 days to wait then its best not to do mobile deposit with this bank its pathedic! Then I made my first transfer on the 27th and still dont have it Im livid because it is no longer pending in the account that the money wad pulled from it has said c completed since early yesterday morning but they refuse to let me have they said its still pending so I send screen shots of the transfer so they could see that it was not pending they quickly sent Me a reply telling me not to worry that its was still pending but it would be available in my account on or by the 6th of march and literally ended the chat before I could even reply!
Its *** all they do is hold your money and Im sorry but who tf has time to wait in their money just because this bank wants to be complete jerks and hold it for no reason! Times are hard these days for pretty much everyone and I definitely dont have other means to hold me over until you decide you want to give me whats rightfully mine! dont eat until I receive my funds that have already been completed and that you are holding!!
Customer service is total crap!! They dont help give generic answers and dont even give you time to reply before they end chat like Grace did with me 10 minutes ago Im livid i will be contacting corporate and fdic!

I booked a ride, canceled it, and it still took my money, and it still hasn't been returned or refunded back. It also says I was charged on Uber because it was canceled.

Before I could make a payment on my current account my card was suspendedI couldnt make a payment on my current account do to a severe thunderstorm anywhere in my city PITTSBURGH PENNSYLVANIA..Moving forward,Can someone from the current branch reach back out to me,to help me get back on track to some I can continue to make payments on my current credit card.Thanks for letting me explain my situation.

I had two checks, one for 898 and one for $416.88. I decided to deposit the $898 check, and in the midst of making the deposit, I grabbed the wrong check and voided it.
Now, I'd like to deposit the $416.88 check that had been voided. However, the check is still good.

The banking app current took 67 cents out of my account. I disputed the charge but I was told that it was verified.
That was taken out of my account in December. In April a large amount was taken out of my account. They took out $408.85 . I disputed the charge again and the bank current is supposed to verify it again but unfortunately it will probably post and say that it was verified.
I don't appreciate this and as soon as I get paid I will close my account. Please be very cautious with this company because they will steal any money that they can.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I don’t remember any issues , couldn’t have been anything to worry about
So I called and explained I have a very important problem! And the Lady who took the call said no that is not how it works! I feel that either her or the reply I received this morning left me ganging to fin for my self at a time when I really need some help! I offered up pay the money back as soon as I get paid The 3-5 of January and she said no that is not how it works .
Si I ask what is the point in getting a loan if you are going to punish me for it. Her reply was this is not a loan it is a advance on your next check! So I said what good is that she just wouldnt really answer me so I told her if that is how you all do business then you could stick it up your butts. She wouldnt even let me explain or ask cant you people make a exception just one time.
This is the kind of hateful worthless stuff I have been running into for the past 3 years.
But if a Man ask for a loan you people in general speaking do not even ask what they need it for. Right the other way , you say how much can I help you with Mr. So and so. And you all say this is a equal opportunity Country ?
I am here to tell who ever disagrees with me that is BS! I have been going through this crap ever since my late husband died! I am going to try and shorten this as much as I can! When he and I married.
I had a average home it was nice , but nothing fancy ! He had a old 60 or so summer home that had no insulation and was ready to start falling down. I took my money to try and fix it up because it was in bad shape. I also ended up selling my house because of him later I came into some more money and we remolded and I put more money into that old house.
After all that was done he decided to sell the house and we would move. After he signed the papers in his property he had to goin to a nursing home and that is when I realized he did not even put my name on anything his retirement or anything. He ran up every credit card he could get his hands on so he ruined my credit and I didnt even know what he had. Done.
That wasnt all he took my car and traded it off for a new car and when he went into the nursing home he he gave it to his grand daughter. I was left with a car that was ready do die any day. Now someone is hacking into my bank account and I am in the whole About (5 orb600 dollars all I ask for was just enough to catch up my bank account so I can close it out and start next month buying money orders but and pay this back and take care of all of my bills .
But she didnt even give me a chance to explain anything. That was when I told her that if your credit card couldnt even help someone when they really needed help then you are no good to anyone and I would cut up your so called credit card and you could all stick it where the sun dont shine And that is the rest of the story!

I was lied to my your customer service representative she assured me if I put the balance that I owed on my advance that it would go there first and not to my overdraft
My ssi retirement deposit was taken for advance and I have it scheduled to come out of my va pension check so I call you and ask why she explained which I feel you should contact the account holder to okay that before you put them in a hardship you took 603 dollars and applied it to my 75O advance which left a balance of 147 so I asked your customer service representative at least 3 or 4 times if I deposit the 147 balance of my advance will it go there first so I have access to it and pay my overdraft of 150 afterwards that way then I'll have access to some money and your rep assured me that is how you apply money to the advance first not overdraft and I can pay the overdraft out of my advance my wife heard her say this to me also so I borrowed $147 from a friend assuring him that I would give it right back so I deposited $150 and it went to my overdraft not the advance she lied to me which left which left me no money from my retirement check and no access to the advance check the phone call I made to your representative it said my call will be record I am so disappointed

Contacted customer service four times I'm still not able to access my account I've sent a picture of my ID a selfie of me with my ID, and I've also had my email changed and updated myself phone number I called back 24 hours after I did all that, and they acted like they couldn't let me into my account time is precious these days, and you can't get it back maybe customer service needs a little bit more training there's always protocol that should be

This place is awful they took my available balance made my account negative wrote up a false receipt and now my account is locked. Do not recommend.

You need to learn the definition of predatory and how it applies to banking. You sound ridiculous throwing words around improperly.
They obviously have metrics they use to determine the payday advance limit. If they don’t meet your needs, move on.
